We checked GetYourGuide in October 2026 and it had no listings for Saipan at all, nor for Tinian or Rota. Its Marianas inventory is small — about a dozen products — and every one of them is on Guam. We will not pretend otherwise or invent tours to fill the page. On Saipan, the north is the island’s most popular excursion and very easy to arrange. Hotel tour desks and local operators in Garapan sell a half-day “north island tour” by van, usually calling at Banzai Cliff, Suicide Cliff, the Last Command Post and the Bird Island lookout, and sometimes the Grotto viewing platform. Dive shops run guided dives and snorkelling at the Grotto when the sea allows, and evening stargazing tours head for the dark skies around Banzai Cliff. Guides often work in Korean, Japanese or Chinese, so ask for English if you need it. The alternative — and in many ways the better one — is a hire car: all the main sites are on paved roads, signposted and free, and you can linger where a van would move on. Booking tips
- Compare a tour with a day’s car hire. For two or more people a hire car often costs little more than tour seats and lets you spend proper time at each site.
- Never arrange the Grotto casually. Dive or snorkel there only with an established local dive operator, and accept their decision if conditions close it — the surge inside the cavern is dangerous.
- Ask which stops are included and how long you get at each. Some tours spend only ten minutes at the cliffs; some skip Suicide Cliff or the Grotto.
- Bring water, a hat and some cash. There are very few places to buy anything north of San Roque.
