We checked GetYourGuide’s partner feed in October 2026. It lists only a dozen products for the whole of Guam, and just one of them is in the south: an off-road jungle drive at a resort in the hills of Yona, shown below, which had a single review at the time. There are no GetYourGuide coach tours of the southern loop, no Cocos Island trips and no guided hikes on the platform, and we will not pretend otherwise.
In practice the south is a self-drive day. Hire a car for 24 hours, follow the loop described on these pages, and you will see everything a tour would. If you would rather not drive, guided round-the-island sightseeing tours can be arranged at hotel tour desks in Tumon. Local operators also run jungle river cruises on the Talofofo River, kayaking trips and guided “boonie stomp” hikes to waterfalls and coves; these are booked directly or through your hotel. Day trips to Cocos Island have traditionally left from Merizo pier, but the island resort has had long closures — check whether it is operating before you plan around it.
Dolphin cruises, guided snorkelling and introductory dives all leave from Piti on the central coast, which you pass on the way south: see Hagåtña & central Guam tours, or the full list of tours in the Mariana Islands. A few of those bookable Guam products are shown below for convenience.
Our pick of Southern Guam tours & tickets
from €102 Jungle Off-Road Adventure & Waterfalls with Resort Pool Access
An off-road adventure at LeoPalace Resort in the hills of Yona: drive through jungle trails to scenic views, then use the resort pool with its water slide. A souvenir photo is included.
Bookable a short drive away
GetYourGuide lists few or no products that start in this part of Guam. These real listings from neighbouring districts are the closest fit.
Hagåtña & Central Guam from €48 Dolphin Watching Cruise & Underwater Observatory
A boat trip along the coast to look for spinner and bottlenose dolphins, with the option of adding a visit to the Fish Eye underwater observatory. Dolphins are wild, so sightings cannot be guaranteed.
Hagåtña & Central Guam from €39 Eco Snorkelling in Piti Bay at Fish Eye Marine Park
A snorkelling tour of the Piti Bay Marine Preserve with a certified guide, swimming among reef fish and corals. A sensible choice if you are new to snorkelling.
Hagåtña & Central Guam from €80 Guided Scuba Dive at Dogleg Reef
An easy-access beach dive for certified divers and first-timers alike, over coral and a sand bottom with tropical fish. Resident green sea turtles are often seen.
Booking tips
- Read the listing closely. With only one review so far there is little feedback to go on, so check what is included, any age, height or driving-licence requirements, and the cancellation terms.
- Check how you get there. Yona is about half an hour from Tumon and there is no useful public transport; confirm whether a hotel transfer is part of the price.
- For the loop drive, book the car, not a tour. Reserve a hire car a few days ahead in peak weeks and collect it the evening before so that you can leave early.
- If you arrange a river cruise, hike or Cocos Island trip locally, ask what happens in bad weather — rivers rise quickly after rain and boats do not run in rough seas.
