We checked GetYourGuide in October 2026. It had no products on Saipan, and none on Tinian or Rota: the platform’s small Marianas inventory, around a dozen experiences, is all on Guam. So there is nothing we can honestly list for the south and east of Saipan. If your journey also takes in Guam, see what is bookable on the Tumon & Tamuning and Hagåtña & central Guam pages; a few of those Guam products appear below for reference.
Locally, three kinds of outing are on offer. ATV and buggy tours climb the jeep trails to Mount Tapochau and are the usual way up for visitors without a suitable vehicle. Dive shops run guided shore dives and introductory dives at Lau Lau Bay, and at Obyan when the south coast is calm. And some operators and independent guides lead hikes to Forbidden Island and other east-coast spots. All are sold through hotel tour desks and local operators in Garapan and at the southern resorts, often with guides working in Korean, Japanese or Chinese as well as English. For everything else you need a hire car — ideally one with high clearance — and a careful read of the rental contract. Our tours page explains what can be booked online across the islands.
Bookable on GetYourGuide today: Guam
GetYourGuide currently lists nothing in the Northern Mariana Islands. If your trip also takes in Guam, 30–45 minutes away by air, these are real, bookable experiences there.
Hagåtña & Central Guam from €48 Dolphin Watching Cruise & Underwater Observatory
A boat trip along the coast to look for spinner and bottlenose dolphins, with the option of adding a visit to the Fish Eye underwater observatory. Dolphins are wild, so sightings cannot be guaranteed.
Hagåtña & Central Guam from €39 Eco Snorkelling in Piti Bay at Fish Eye Marine Park
A snorkelling tour of the Piti Bay Marine Preserve with a certified guide, swimming among reef fish and corals. A sensible choice if you are new to snorkelling.
Tumon & Tamuning from €78 Taotao Tasi Beachfront Cultural Show with Dinner Options
An open-air show on the beach mixing Pacific island dance, live music and fire performances, with show-only or dinner tickets.
Booking tips
- Read your rental agreement before leaving tarmac. Many contracts forbid unpaved roads, which rules out the Tapochau summit track and the roads to Lau Lau, Obyan and other beaches in an ordinary hire car. Ask the company what is allowed.
- For Mount Tapochau, consider an ATV or buggy tour booked at your hotel desk. Check the minimum age, whether a driving licence is needed and what insurance covers.
- Dive and hike with local knowledge. East-coast conditions change quickly; a dive shop or guide will know whether Lau Lau or Forbidden Island is sensible on the day.
- Book a day or two ahead in peak weeks, and take cash — small operators do not always accept cards.
